Introduction :

Le 21 Septembre 2001, entre 10H10 et 10H25, le satellite ODIN survolait Toulouse dans sa tangente pour des mesures de l'atmosphère. Sa trajectoire durant 15 minutes permettait de voir Toulouse et sa région sur la tranche de l'atmosphère. A deux reprises espacées de quelques minutes la vision de l'atmosphère depuis 600 km d'altitude était exactement au-dessus de Toulouse.

Coïncidence...?

15 minutes sur 1440 minutes dans les 24 heures, c'est quasiment 1% de chance d'avoir cet aspect sur un des satellites les mieux placés au monde pour mesurer justement ce qu'un site industriel peut avoir au-dessus de lui et surtout d'avoir un spectre de fréquence unique au monde dépassant les 100 à 500 GHz. Rien de tel pour détecter les faisceaux micro-onde et leurs effets.
